| The HEAD START is a two-piece unit with one piece (the head) having a flexible side with a hole. The other piece (the insert) has a pin which goes through the eye of the dead bait and a hole for retaining the *bead chain or other type leaders. |

Pull out while flexing side past the pin |
|
|
|
|
|
Snap off the beak and insert rigging needle into the anal opining and out of the mouth.

|
|
|
|
Pull beaded chain through bait fish to desired position and drop through the hole in the insert.

|
|
|
|
Push pin through the eye of the dead bait fish.
| |
|
|
|
|
Slide head back over the insert until flexible side snaps over the pin. Break the backbone of the bait fish for best action. |
